Subject: Just a side note.
Daniel Boone actually wore a beaver felt hat to keep the sun out of his eyes, instead of the coonskin cap he's normally portrayed in.

Subject: Wrong land features
This movie has huge ponderosa pine growing in the Carolinas and Kentucky in the 1700s which were not native species and had mountains with desert scrub, a feature native to California where it was filmed which utterly kills any sense of authenticity. Boone was also a failed speculator always in debt up to his eyeballs. One word for this film,,, FAIL like almost every Daniel Boone film made in hollyweird.

Subject: It was pretty good
It was a very typical Daniel Boone-type story, and I was entertained by it.
